FINDING MYSELF SERIES - EP 1: WHAT DO I HATE ABOUT MYSELF?
Hi,
Welcome to the very first episode of the Finding Myself Series!
In this journey, I’ll be guiding you through the process of discovering who you are and, most importantly, learning to love the person you discover along the way.
But first, let me ask you a few questions:
- Have you ever asked yourself why you exist?
- Why are you in this generation?
- Why are you reading this at this exact moment?
Take a deep breath. Don’t let these questions overwhelm you. I just need you to keep them at the back of your mind as we go on.
Now, let’s begin.
YOUR FIRST PRACTICAL LESSON
I want you to grab your journal (or notebook).
Flip to a fresh page and, at the very top, write:
✍🏾 “WHAT I HATE ABOUT MYSELF”
Once you’ve written that, give yourself a full 20 minutes of focus time.
List out everything that comes to mind when you ask yourself this question.
Be honest with yourself.
Number your points clearly, one after the other.
Don’t rush. Don’t get distracted. Let this be your moment of honesty with yourself.
When you’re done, pause for a second. Look at your list. Then smile! because you’ve just taken the very first step on this journey of self-discovery.
