LOVE LETTER SERIES - EP4:The memories we've had

 I'm glad it's you.

You've added more colours to my now—and they're beautiful colours.

Learning how to love is something I never imagined would happen at this time, but with you... it's special.

Loving you reminds me a bit of God's love for me. It's a similar experience. As I embrace your love and love you in return, I'm learning to love myself more and more.

Others wonder what made me choose you.

If only they could experience the love I receive from you—the care, the comfort your presence brings... all of you.

How did I go from not caring how long it took to respond to your messages, to sending you voice notes every morning?

Where we are now, and where we'll be tomorrow—it's all beautiful, because it's with you.

If tomorrow with you wasn't certain, I'd still have no regrets about what we have now.

I'd be happy I loved you the way I did, because I'm no longer scared of losing you—I'm scared of not loving you enough.

If today is all we have together, then it holds a special place in my heart.

The intentionality and subtle edge in your words.

The tenderness of your hold.

Can I confess that I might also be intoxicated by your scent?

Your hearty laugh causes a ripple effect in my mind.

Just when I thought I was a little bit weird, you tell me you find me funny.

I guess we both agree that weirdness still exists—hahaha.

I suspect you might be a fairytale, but you're real.

You read through my slightest discomfort and choose my pleasure over everything else.

Days go by, and it feels like we've known each other forever.

No one told me about the telling-habit...

I still feel guilty, yet excited, to tell you more.

I love how you love to hear me talk about everything.

And how you deliberately help solve difficult tasks—and thoughts.

I love how expressive you are about always wanting me with you.

I love you.

And I want to love you more... the way you want to be loved.

Reflection

A gentle reminder that love, at its best, teaches us how to love ourselves better. Sometimes, the right person comes along not to complete us, but to mirror back the parts of us we’ve forgotten to cherish.

Through vulnerability, daily gestures, and deep emotional presence, this kind of love nurtures growth. It also shows that real love isn’t always loud—it’s found in the quiet acts of showing up, of noticing discomfort, of choosing each other over and over again.

Love isn't just what we feel, it's what we do.

It's in the voice notes, the curious questions, the intentional presence.
