THE POWER OF PATIENCE

Would you rather choose Patience or regrets?

I guess your answer is the former. No one wants to go through that same feelings of regret they experienced again.

Patience is the ability to tolerate, accept delays without becoming anxious or annoyed. 

I remember reading "The Principles and Power of vision" by Dr. Myles Munroe. In one of the closing chapters he wrote something remarkable that has been of great impact on my way of thinking. I'd like to share it with you. 

He wrote: 

"A patient person makes others unsettled.."

I believe this is true because there are people who want a reaction from you. That's why they treat you the way they do. That's why they say the things they say. But, when you're patient you don't give them what they want.

Patience is MORE POWERFUL than might! 

I want you to accept this truth, because it'll change your thinking processing, it'll help you see how to harness the power of patience. 

I've learnt overtime to hold on, think, re-think, pray and ask myself three questions; 

1. Is this good for me? 

2. Will my decision put the other person at risk? 

3. Will my decision to not hurt someone else hurt me?

Patience has saved me from making mistakes. I've learnt that sometimes we believe we need certain things but the truth is that we don't..and we fight our mind not to accept this. Patience has opened my eyes to see what I didn't see at the beginning. It has taught me not to settle for less, not to rush when making life decisions. 

Patience perfects your Spiritual character. You learn to embrace joy, even when everything looks gloomy. You choose love when things seem unlovable and people act out of love towards you. 

I want you to be conscious of this. No one can successfully "lay off" you! You're a child of God! All they can do is set you up for your next position that'll further prepare you for the fulfillment of your vision. 

Don't allow those things get to you. 

Shake it off! 

Personally, I want to learn more about patience and unlearn things that needs to be corrected. Let's start this journey together 🫶🏾🤝🏾
